As a person who after two years with a herniated disc, that caused not only sciatica but the inability to void, then back surgery, sciatica cleared but prostatitis continued, Then prostate removal for prostate cancer only for surgeon to leave me with 3 cm hole in urethra. I now continue in pain now for 12 years. In all this never missed a days work (except following back surgery, worked 4 days later with catheter in following prostate removal), I work with palliative patients who through my pain, accept me sharing about how Christ has enabled me to work through my pain. Yes, I pray for healing, but whether or not that comes, I pray God will give me grace to share about Jesus. Without him, there would be no hope.
