my husband died last year and his birthday would be this saturday 9/9. I planned a backyard movie night of the Barbie movie for Sunday thinking it would be a fun not serious celebration and I would be surrounded by friends. Last night I found out the the movies release has been moved til the 12th.
I signed a contract with the screen rental folks and am stuck. People have been excited about seeing the film in my yard and I have a popcorn cart, pizza, candy, props and things planned.
There are 34 people who rsvp and texted me about their fun outfits etc.
Now I’m so stressed out. Do I postpose and take a loss on the cost of the screen rental or should I show a different film and also move Barbie to a different night.
Its 3 days away.
I’m just sad and missing my husband best friend partner and wanted to feel close to him because he loved having people over for fun evenings.
