I just sent a resume to a local veterinarian. I’ve wanted to be one ever since I understood what the concept was. I don’t care if they pay me. I mostly want experience because I plan on going DVM in the future and you need experience to even be considered for entry to vet school. I’ve applied at so many places and always got rejected. I’m autistic and the fact my body language isn’t normal kinda throws them off. The places that supposedly help autistic people find employment consider me too “high functioning” or don’t help with gaining experience for a career. I am at my wits end and have even am even considering suicide. I need this place to give me a job, or at least a volunteer position.
