Maureen was raised in the UK and Ireland in a Roman Catholic family. She attended an RC Convent residential school. I was raised by born again parents but took a ‘long time’ to finally come to know Christ as my Saviour and Lord. During that ‘long time’ I met Maureen, we married and settled down together. After being together for 6 years she had an affair which broke my heart and I left to live with a long standing lady friend. Eventually we got back together. The result of this sad experience caused me to finally seek the Lord, confessing my sins as per 1 John 1:9 Since that confession I have grown closer and closer to my Lord. Now my daily prayer time always includes Maureen coming to Jesus.
