I need prayer for my children who both have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Although they are 14 years apart in age I can barely see the difference. They are both habitual liars, they steal (right now as far as I know it’s only from me), and my youngest is destroying my house. She puts holes in and writes on the wall and furniture, she opens up food and plays in it and stuffs in under furniture in cabinets under things. She eats, and eats, and continues to eat although I know that she can’t possibly be that hungry. My rule is if you’re hungry, by all means eat, but do not waste food. It’s hard on me as a single parent taking care of a child on a teacher’s salary. My son works and he does help me when he can, but he is such a habitual liar and he steals from me when he’s not working. I love my children and I would lay down my life for them, but this taking a toll on me. I have been praying and will continue to pray, but I promise it seems as though God isn’t listening to my prayers or just doesn’t care. I say that, however I know that it isn’t true, but it hurts that he won’t help me with these problems.
