My 15 year old son, Deacon, is fighting cancer. We are at a turning point where his tumors have been deemed chemo-resistant (he has been fighting rhabdomyosarcoma for 3 years) and can no longer receive any more chemotherapy. Tomorrow, December 1, we are in last hope of treatment options with his acceptance into a clinical trial for immunotherapy for treatment at Seattle’s Children’s Hospital (we live in Michigan). If accepted, and it is looking like he will be, we need his body to manage the next 6 weeks without any treatment to be able to get receive the first infusion. Our hope, is that God will protect him and give him everything he needs to beat cancer. We are scared but believe in our heavenly Father’s ability to do the impossible. I am requesting prayers to help support our family over the next few months as we transition.
