I know Lord my dear-heart husband is with you and out of pain but I am still here and lost without him. After 41yrs I am alone, bereft of my gentle, loving, giving, soul mate – my grief is overwhelming. I seek your face and peace but I feel as if I am swimming against the tide. I am drowning in my sorrow and tears. Just when I think I have the courage to stand up and follow you into this new way of living, I fall on my face and my courage fails me. I pray for mercy and strength to carry on, to trust you and to keep swimming towards the Light. Amen
