Lord, please help me to be patient, for I want to mend our relationship, but I feel like I lost my way after my significant other left me. Now that we’re back together, we can’t see eye to eye. There’s no trust, & we end up arguing a lot. Both of us hurt one another in the past, but worked to get back on track. But when things aren’t going swell one of us will throw the past in the others face. I don’t want to go through life arguing about what the other did 10+ years ago. Help me father, to have compassion, understanding, patience, & strength to do what right/best for me & out children. Help us let go of the past & not be so bitter toward each other. Instead help him to focus on the solution rather. Help me let go of any anger or sadness inside. So that I don’t carry the burdens of the past around, because it makes me feel broken.
