My wife and I have been renting our home for nearly 11 years and we have 2 young daughters (2 and 7 years old). Just before Christmas, our landlords told us they are planning to sell the house and offered to sell to us if we can afford it. We agreed to a price with them and then they went silent for nearly a month. Out of fear, we started looking at other homes and got under contract for a home that didn’t work out and we lost $8k in earnest money. Our landlord has since called and said they are looking for a replacement property and will still “give us the first chance” at buying the home. Please pray for us to have wisdom on what to do and that we can have a home for our children.
