Heavenly Father, I know you have not given us the spirit of fear and Your Word says be not anxious for anything. I’m trying so hard to overcome both fear and anxiety. I need Your help Lord as I’m troubled on every side. I’ve struggled for years as Your servant with seeking employment opportunities and as a result of not finding work, the man I married sees me as incapable, he divorced me. I understand it’s spiritual but he didn’t get that. I know You will not put more on us than we can bear, but it’s hard. I find myself in urgent need of Your mercy and favor. I know you have Your appointed time to move on our behalf, so I humbly ask please help me speedily. Avenge me of this indescribable battle. I don’t know if it’s a curse or fiery trial. Whatever it is, You Lord are in control. I don’t know what to make of it, I pray one day I will. Nonetheless, Lord save me. I ask that You be my father, friend, counselor, and the husband I need in this season of my life. Make clear to me Your will. Give me instruction and teach me the way that is right. I feel I am going under if help doesn’t come soon. I am tired and in need of rest. I am confident You hear our prayers and I pray now that if it’s not too much to ask that You will answer quickly.
