Dear Lord
You are calling me to deeper prayer life and Intercessory ministry. Yet the devil is using past sins in an attempt to thwart me. Please help me by your grace to overcome the flesh and to resist the devil. Your word promises that if we resist the devil he will flee. But your word also reminds me to flee from sin, lay aside sin and confess sin. I freely confess sin believing you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. I also desire and confess my desperate need to be filled with your Spirit so that I can walk in victory knowing tha greater is the One in me than the one who is in the world. I also covet the prayers of my brothers and sisters believing that prayer from the righteous is effectual and accomplishes much. Finally I stand ready to lay aside every encumbrance and to separate myself from any foothold of the enemy. Lord I cannot do this in my own strength, therefore, I ask for the help of Him in Whose strength I can do ALL things. In His name, the name of Your Son Jesus I pray. Amen
