God, I have been unemployed for 2 years. I am humbling myself in front of you, at your feet. I know I am imperfect and have confessed all sin to you. I ask for forgiveness, for grace. I’m grateful I have a roof over my head and don’t go to bed hungry. I’m grateful for my beautiful daughter. I pray you continue to keep us both under the shadow of your wings. God I know my situation isn’t unique. So many people are unemployed, struggling. I pray for us all. Favour us all. God I need you to intervene now more than ever as I wait for interview feedback. I need this job and believe you have already granted it to me. Let me hear back with a job offer. Let me have my life be changed this coming week. Amen.
