Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you to say that I am not perfect and nor is my husband, but you are. Often times I forget that when I see my husband do things that upset or anger me, help me to see him through your eyes Lord. Please give me the strength and the power of the Holy Spirit to continue to love my husband unconditionally, even on the days I do not want to. I tend to pray selfishly, asking for you to change my husband on his actions, on the things he does that hurt me. While I continue to pray for your work to be done in my husband, help me to be more selfless and look deeper into what changes you want to do in my life. I pray that you will hold this marriage in your hands and rekindle that flame. I pray that you will teach us how to love one another unconditionally as you have called us to. May our actions and words speak truth to one another and help to bring us closer. I know you are a God of reconciliation and healing, I just pray that your will be done in this marriage, and may we not only be brought closer to another but that we will be even closer with you.
