by Daiteria ()

Please pray for strength in me. I have 2 coworkers that have been picking on me trying to cause me to lose my job because they’re not happy where that is at. I have been under attack by my manager and don’t know why. I feel like I’m about to lose my mind. I need help and prayer

  1. Never give up

I believe that God presents situations that would not normally be presented. This is one of those times. I have had a couple of very difficult years that involved work-related issues. I was working for a prestigious University but on a daily basis I was demeaned and due to an unforeseen strength, I started to stick up for myself. That caused me to lose my job and it was the beginning of a downward spiral. I stood up and made clear the situation and the administration was surprised that I did not back down. They knew they were in the wrong and offered me my job back but I walked away because the same situation would have presented itself. This led me to another company that was in technology and it was worse. My age, 53, played against me and I was continually told by my Manager that I should quit because I don’t fit in along with the other younger individuals. It had caused me so much heartache that my physical well being was compromised. I knew that there was a reason God had me in the situation but I just could not understand why I was being punished. One September day when I thought I was at the end of my ability to continue to handle the horrible situation there was a shooting at my workplace. I laid on the floor praying like I never prayed before asking the Lord to bless me with my life and that I would survive this situation. The Lord heard all of our prayers because the only death was the shooter. The four individuals that he shot all survived. I believe that the Lord showed me it could be worse but that I’m strong with him by my side. I have since left the job and have started working for an amazing place. I’m respected and I look forward to going to work every day. I understand that your situation is difficult for you, but my only reason for responding is that you will survive the environment and you are learning that you have amazing strength with the Lord next to you. This will pass and you will find the position that will bring you abundance. God does not want you to spend your days being miserable. Please grab hold of that strength you have been blessed with and find a new job where you will grow. I hope these words will be of help to you.
