Please pray for the healing of our family relationship with our daughter. She and her dad have not had a good relationship for many years and she is constantly complaining about him or saying things to downgrade him. She is 46 years old and needs to grow up and be respectable towards him. He has stage 4 COPD and cannot do much for himself. We thought we could rely on them for some assistance since we are getting older and we’re trying to move; he is 72 and I am 65. She seems to think there are things he doesn’t need done and we believe she is influencing her husband not to help us much. We have not only paid him but gave him valuable things during the move. She rarely comes around us; maybe 4 or 5 times a year and they only lived about 1/2 hour away. She doesn’t seem to want much to do with us which is very hurtful. There was an issue with my husband’s sister stealing from the estate which created more issues in the family because she is siding with her and thinks my husband was wrong for he and his other sister taking her to court. Our hearts are breaking; I want to keep my distance from her to avoid any more issues with her attitude and enjoy the peace and joy we desire. We still love her but I can’t stand seeing her treating us that way, especially my husband. I don’t know if avoiding her is right in God’s eyes and I ask his forgiveness every day if that is wrong. I ask him for the healing of our family and ask Him to guide me in what to do. Thank you for the prayers; I know they are answered in some way. Blessings to the prayer team.
