I am a senior, retired from professional life since 2014. Two years ago, I was conned & duped into what seemed to be a good deal, signed a ‘mortgage’ for a gent who told me (us) he was down on his luck, poor credit due to an ugly divorce & needed someone ‘creditable’ to sign a mortgage for him! He lied to us about his criminal history, arrest, conviction & 5 year prison term! Since Jan. 2021, I have been mentally emotionally ‘tortured’, found out the bank manager was complicit with him! This has cost me huge lawyer fees & now forced to litigate against colossal well known bank! Fortunately, I have many solid documents as evidence of this man using my Credit Cards online (which I never do or did online banking); in addition he put my name down as President of a huge corp. & so many duplicitous underhanded things he did to jeopardize my good credit & even had my Credit Cards revoked several times! Thank God another bank manager with moral integrity, alerted me right after the mortgage was signed, of all the irregularities! This manager was then ‘fired’ several months later as he was the culprit who did the right thing but made the bank look bad! your prayers for me would be greatly appreciated, & I trust that the lord will take this burden & turn it into a blessing for ‘his glory’!
