Lord, sometimes you feel so distant, I give and I help others in and out of the church, financially and in other ways, but sometimes feel I don’t receive help or know how to ask for it. In a single household, I have to face everything and pay for everything in my own. People define me often by my job (a teacher) as if that’s all I am, asking about work. Lord I have some debt that you know about, not from folly or misuse of finances, but simply paying taxes and bills as a single woman. Its got to the point where the creditors solicitors are seeking court action to secure this on my property. I would like to be debt free. I have paid some of this off, but honestly I feel alone often in this and constantly there is the clamour of financial help needed from others, sponsorship of a child too, noone really thinks or feels I may also need help. I gave carried this on my own for far too long to appear strong to others, please help me Lord not to give into financial insecurities but to trust in you, in Jesus name amen x
