Emotional Healing for 28 yr-old Army Doc and her COVID patients

by Patti ()

Dear Prayer Warriors,
We lift up the medical workers around the world (including my 28-yr-old daughter who is in her 3rd year of residency in an Army hospital) who are exhausted and traumatized by dealing with COVID patients and (maybe) have given up on God’s helping.

Holy Spirit, blow a fresh wind over these workers – a wind of refreshment, wisdom, and sensitivity to the Spirit to hear Your protocol for how to treat each patient. Let each worker have the faith to lay hands on the sick and see them healed. Lord, heal each worker of the trauma which has happened during this plandemic. Remove any guilt, regret, or shame for how they’ve treated (or not treated) their patients. During times of limited resources, the medical workers had to predict who had the best chance of surviving and give the resources to those patients while watching the other patients suffer and die. Remove the hopelessness of not being able to help the patients who are looking to the medical workers for help. Remove the haunting visions of the traumatic memories of all the faces of the patients and their loved ones.

We lift up all of their patients – past, present, and future – to be healed completely not only of the virus itself but also healed of the damage caused by the virus and the drugs used to fight it.

My daughter has watched as patients’ fingers fall off because she and the doctors are giving them drugs that restrict blood flow to the extremities in order to try to keep the vital organs alive. This is probably one reason family members were not allowed to visit.

Please pray that all of these people will have a new revelation of Christ in them, the hope of Glory. That as He is, so are we in the world.
Thank you
