Good afternoon,
I am a born again child of God, working as a High School Maths teacher in England.
Currently I am facing a situation where a young student (aged 13) has reported me to the Head of our school as having threatened to hit him, which is not entirely true.
I feel this is a direct attack of the enemy as I believe the Father has opened this employment to me at this school to be a shining light for the glory of God to the lives of the young people at this school.
The situation briefly is that a boy (TB) who is a real challenging student, had been rude, disruptive and difficult for most of the lesson. I had followed the schools disciplinary process step by step. Towards the end of the lesson he picked up the hand sanitizer off my teacher desk which has a slight pink tint to it and holding it up to my face, asking me if it is my wife’s period blood. I simply shook my head and half jokingly looked at him and asked “Seriously, T!?? Shall I hit you now or later?” Well, obviously he has in order to avoid getting into more trouble, reported me to the head for threatening him.
I do realise that in all honesty, those were not my most proudest moments or wisest words, but in genuine honesty, I had not said it in a threatening way.
I am now being summoned to a meeting to “discuss what happened with TB” as stated in the email, tomorrow. There is a sense of feeling upset and nervous as I am 60 years old suffering too with a terminal illness. I need this income and am unable to stop working – in simply a practical sense as well.
I need prayer in the following specific areas please:
Wisdom – Godly wisdom that way surpasses human understanding and planning.
Might – To be confident in the might of His strength.
Justice – That God, the eternal judge move on my behalf for truth, Honesty and Integrity.
Discernment – obviously a blatant attack of the enemy.
Protection – and favour.
The blood of Jesus Christ speak on my behalf.
I desire and believe the Father placed me in this school to be an expression of Jesus Christ to these young people as well as adults. I know I stand righteous in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross on my behalf, which is why I believe this is an attack of the enemy.
