Dear Lord Jesus, please take away this depression.

by Richard (Co Tyrone, Ireland)

Dear Lord Jesus, I come before you a broken man. I want whats right and good for my family and my life. You have blessed me so much but because of my situation I can’t see or appreciate you the way I should. My financial situation is causing me to feel very suicidal.

Please help me Jesus, this burden is so heavy. Thank you for my wonderful wife and three wonderful children. Thank you that they are well and healthy. I pray that we will all serve you faithfully. Please reach into the depths of my core beliefs and change them so I can think properly.

You are my Lord and God and I love you. I know you are with me in this pain. Use me to witness for you, I am here for you. Thank you for your word, thank you for your spirit, thank you for giving absolutely everything you could give for me on calvary. Thank you that we all can become the righteousness of God because on the cross you made him who had no sin to be sin for us.
Please use me again my Lord. Lift this mental illness and may I then shine for you.

Praying for your situation. Your words are so well worded and eloquent . Inspiring. Don’t know if you’ve heard of Joyce Meyer but might help. Sending prayers.
