I have a consultation with the cataract surgeon on Oct 31. I met my deductible already, so if I can get both eyes done this year it will be fully covered. Another reason to get it done this year is that my employer is changing health insurance but have decided which plan to go with. I don’t know if the eye clinic I have the consultation would be in network come January. So two good reasons why I am hoping and praying that if the cataracts need to get taken care of, the surgery would happen this year.
