Dear Father, It has been said when your professional life is great, your personal life starts to crack. Thank you Lord for allowing more to have a profession that returns me to a living wage, but I can’t help but feel this living wage should increase to include home ownership to share with my adult children; and protect us from the evil spirits that have cloaked themselves in the images of family and acquaintances. Touch my children’s hearts and souls so they may clearly see a “True Christian heart person”. Eliminate their need to feel like they need to belong to, or belong with everyone. Clear their minds and spirit to stop and think so they realize they do not need to experience everything just because it is presented to them, or is worldly, or trendy. Help them quiet themselves to hear your guidance and direction to ease their emotions, fears, anger, anxiety and confusion. Bring them back to their Mother who is truly the one that appreciates, uplifts, shelters and loves them with the Almighty at her side.
